Where Bebop meets Gypsy Jazz
A new and exciting collaboration between three highly experienced musicians, David Brown, Clare Mactaggart and Jerry Crozier-Cole.
With a musical history spanning several decades, these three dynamic performers each bring a different jazz flavour from Bebop to Swing to Manouche.
Dave is a wonderful singer with a charmingly soft voice that’s perfect for the early swing era. His tasteful melodic guitar playing blends seamlessly with Jerry’s effortless jazz brilliance and Clare’s magical Grappelli-esque violin.
This will be an exciting show from these three, each masters of their craft. Clare and Dave first played together in the 90s and are hugely excited to bring Jerry along for the first live show as a trio. Expect blistering instrumental breaks, nostalgic vintage vocals and a bucket-load of energy and joy on stage.
